Esports settlement rules
All esports markets are settled on the official result as declared by the relevant tournament organiser or governing body. Results sourced from official tournament broadcasts or official post-match data will be used where no formal governing body declaration exists.
If a match or game is not started or is abandoned before completion, all bets will be void unless the outcome has been unconditionally determined or an official result has been declared by the tournament organiser.
If a player or team is disqualified from a tournament, they will be settled as a loser in all outstanding markets.
In-play bets placed during a period when an incorrect score or game state is displayed are void. MagicMarkets reserves the right to void bets if a game state or map result is subsequently reversed by the tournament organiser.
The settlement rules for each available market type are as follows:
Moneyline (Match / Series Winner): Bets are placed on the winner of the match or series. Settlement is based on the official series result.
Asian Handicap (Map / Game Handicap): Bets are placed on the winner of the match or series once the stated map or game handicap is applied. Each line is settled individually.
Asian Over / Under (Total Maps / Rounds): Bets are placed on the total number of maps or rounds played in a match. Each line is settled individually using Asian handicap rules.
1x2 (Map Winner): Bets are placed on the outcome of an individual map or game within a match. Settled on the official result of that specific map or game.
Correct Score: Bets are placed on the exact map or game score of the match. Settled on the official result.
Outright: Bets are placed on the overall winner of an esports tournament or league. Settlement is based on the official competition winner as declared by the tournament organiser.
The full exchange betting rules, including order handling, errors and voiding, are set out in our Terms of Service.
