Politics settlement rules

The winner for all political markets will be determined based on the official results as announced by the appropriate authorities. This includes, but is not limited to, the results declared by government bodies, electoral commissions, or any other official organizations responsible for certifying the outcome of an election or nomination process.

UK Politics - Winning bets are determined based on the individual who is officially invited by the monarch to form the government and is subsequently appointed as Prime Minister. The market will be settled based on the official announcement of the new Prime Minister by the appropriate authorities.

US Politics:

Presidential Election Winner - Winning bets are determined based on the candidate who receives the majority of Electoral College votes and is officially declared the winner of the US Presidential Election. The market will be settled based on the official announcement of the election results by the appropriate authorities.

Party President Nominee - Winning bets are determined based on the candidate who is officially nominated by a political party to be its candidate for the office of President of the United States. The market will be settled based on the official nomination announcement by the party at its national convention or through official party channels.

Party Vice President Nominee - Winning bets are determined based on the candidate who is officially nominated by a political party to be its candidate for the office of Vice President of the United States. The market will be settled based on the official nomination announcement by the party at its national convention or through official party channels.
