The prediction market for serious sports traders

MagicMarkets is a sports prediction market. You see the whole market in one book and your order fills at the best available price. A price of 55.5¢ means the market rates that outcome a 55.5% chance: buy it if you think the market is underrating it, sell it if you think it's overrating it.

What's trading now

The book above shows where the market is most active, across soccer, basketball and every event trading live. In soccer, the Premier League and La Liga carry full market coverage, from match winner through handicaps and totals.

Close out before the whistle

Because every outcome can be sold as well as bought, no position is locked in. Buy an outcome, sell it back once the price moves, and you close at the new price whatever the final score. Liquidity holds in-play as well as pre-game, so a position stays tradeable once the event is under way.

MagicMarkets FAQs

What is MagicMarkets?
MagicMarkets is a sports prediction market. You see the whole market in one book and your order fills at the best available price on it, rather than at whatever the first price on offer happens to be.
How is a prediction market different from a bookmaker?
A bookmaker sets its own prices and builds a margin into them, and closes accounts that win too often. On a prediction market you take a position against other traders, you can sell an outcome as well as buy it, and you can close before the event settles. MagicMarkets applies no limits and closes no accounts for winning.
What does MagicMarkets charge?
Zero commission. No fees, no cuts and no platform skimming on an order — the price you place is the price you get. MagicMarkets charges nothing on deposits or withdrawals either, though a third-party onramp or network fee may apply.
What does it mean to buy or sell an outcome?
Buying an outcome means taking the position that it happens. Selling means taking the other side, that it doesn't. Every trade needs a buyer and a seller, which is what sets the price.
How do I read prices in cents?
A price is the market's estimate of how likely an outcome is, shown in cents out of 100. An outcome trading at 55.5¢ is being priced as a 55.5% chance. You can set the price format you prefer in your account.
Can I close a position before the event settles?
Yes. Buying an outcome and later selling it, or selling and later buying it back, closes the position at the current price. You take the price movement rather than waiting on the result.
Which sports can I trade on MagicMarkets?
Soccer, basketball, tennis, cricket, ice hockey, eSports and more. The book on the home page shows what the market is most active on right now, and the in-play page lists every event trading live.
