Asian Handicap
Soccer
Asian Handicap levels the playing field by giving the underdog a virtual head start. By adding or subtracting goals from a team's final score, it eliminates the draw and turns the match into a two-way contest. It offers more flexibility than standard betting, including "Pushes" where your stake is returned, and "Half-Wins" that provide a payout even in tight games.
mechanics
- Half-ball lines (±0.5, ±1.5, ±2.5…): The simplest Asian Handicap lines. Because the goal difference can never equal a fraction, half-ball lines always produce a clean win or full loss with no possibility of a push or refund.
- Level ball (0): If the match ends in a draw, your entire stake is returned as a push. A result in your team's favour is a full win; the opposite result is a full loss.
- Quarter-ball lines (±0.25, ±0.75, ±1.25…): Your stake is split 50/50 across the two adjacent half-ball lines. For example, backing Home at −0.75 places half your stake on Home −0.5 and half on Home −1.0. If Home wins by exactly one goal, the −0.5 half wins but the −1.0 half loses — giving you a net half-win.
- Home −0.5: The home side must win outright. Any draw or away win results in a full loss.
- Home +0.5: A home win or a draw both result in a full win. Only an outright away win loses.
- Settlement uses the 90-minute score only, including all referee-added injury time. Extra time and penalty shootouts in cup competitions are never included.
